My father passed on his love of fishing to me at a very young age. Growing up along the coastal waters of Connecticut, striped bass fishing became an integral part of my life and shaped a passion that has lasted more than 55 years.

Over the decades, I have pursued saltwater game fish of every kind—from snapper blues and striped bass to fluke, weakfish, tuna, marlin, and mako sharks. My fishing adventures have taken me throughout the United States and to destinations such as Venezuela and Costa Rica, always chasing the next great fishing experience.

Sandworm Lures was born from a simple idea: create an artificial lure that imitates what I believe, through decades of experience, to be one of the most effective baits ever used for striped bass, fluke, weakfish, and many other saltwater species—the sandworm.

There have been very few times in my life when I fished with live sandworms and didn't catch fish. When I realized there were very few realistic sandworm imitations available on the market, I decided to create my own. I invested countless hours learning the soft-plastics industry, designing molds, testing prototypes, and refining my products until I developed a sandworm imitation that I was confident would help anglers catch more fish.

That vision eventually became a reality with the launch of SandwormLures.com.
